Returns
We take great pride in our customer service, if you have any questions or are having any issues with the products you have purchased from us, please contact us first. We will do everything we can to help you so that you are satisfied with your purchase. You can reach us at: info@1bitsquared.com
Orders cannot be canceled once they have shipped. The customer’s changed mind about wanting the product or lack of knowledge about use of product is not a basis for a return. A defective or faulty product is the only basis for a return, in which case the following applies.
Our return policy is good for 30 days from the date of purchase. We cannot offer you a refund or exchange if 30 days have gone by since your date of purchase.
All goods are rigorously tested before they are sent out. In the unlikely event that goods are faulty, they must be returned to 1 Bit Squared at the address listed on your order receipt within 30 days from the date of purchase. Providing that the device has not been altered beyond what is necessary to evaluate its functionality, has no physical damage, and has been properly assembled by the user. Manufacturing defects identified during this period will be repaired by 1 Bit Squared or replaced with the same item, if we are able to replicate the issue described by the customer.
1 Bit Squared will not accept goods that have been clearly used more than the amount needed to evaluate their functionality. If the goods are found to be in working condition and the non-functionality is a result of lack of knowledge or assembly error on the customer’s part, no refund will be made, and the goods will be returned to the user at their expense. If there is evidence that the product has been modified or an effort to “fix” it has been made, 1 Bit Squared will not be responsible and therefore will not provide an exchange, and the goods will be returned to the user at their expense.
Any order discrepancies must be communicated within 30 days from the date of purchase.
We require an order receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return.
Return shipment is the responsibility of the customer.
Please do not send your purchase back to the original equipment manufacturer, unless it is 1 Bit Squared and the product was purchased through 1 Bit Squared’s website. Please note, that we currently do not sell through any other websites other than the 1 Bit Squared store.
Partial Refunds (if applicable)
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
If any item is not in its original condition, or is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to 1 Bit Squared’s error. If any item is returned more than 30 days after the date of purchase.

There are certain situations where a refund might be granted:
Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will inspect your returned purchase and will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, be it partial or in full with the exclusion of the original shipping cost and a 15% restocking fee applied (if applicable). To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must be repacked in the original packaging and include all of its original parts. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective by the manufacturer or were damaged through shipping. Software updates that can be performed by the customer do not require exchanges. If you need to make an exchange for the same item, send us an email at info@1bitsquared.com and ask for the address to send the item back.
Shipping
To return your product, you must send us an email at info@1bitsquared.com and ask for the return mailing address and instructions on the return process.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on the shipping method used and where you live.
If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a shipping service with tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Package Was Returned by Mail Carrier
If you did not receive or manage to pick up your order after it arrived at your location and the mail carrier service has shipped the package back to us due to abandonment or an inaccurately provided mailing address.You must wait until we notify you of the package receival on our end before we can issue a refund excluding the original shipping cost. After we have refunded you, if you are still interested in receiving your order, you must place the order again before we can mail it back to you. Please contact us at info@1bitsquared, so we can confirm or correct your shipping address before your order is mailed again. If you are shipping to a business address, please include the name of your business in your shipping address when placing your order. This ensures that the mail carrier will deliver the order to your business address.
